Prior to founding Caridan Marketing Labs, Dan served as SVP at HNW (www.hnw.com), a strategic marketing agency focused on the Affluent Segment. Responsible for some of the firms largest relationships with financial services and luxury brands, Dan was instrumental in developing the firms direct and interactive marketing.
Prior to HNW, Dan worked in the marketing group of Digitas Inc. (www.digitas.com), leading interactive marketing and web development efforts for American Express. Dan also served as Vice President at Zustek (www.Zustek.com), where he developed and implemented interactive marketing strategies for Fortune 500 companies, including Time Inc., Caesars Entertainment and Alliance Capital Management.
Dan was Co-Founder and COO of SimplyDone Business Solutions, an enterprise software and consulting firm that sold a unique CRM application to large service-based franchise businesses. He began his career at Sapient Corporation (www.sapient.com), a systems integrator and ecommerce consultancy.
Dan has an MS from NYU in Direct and Interactive Marketing and a BS in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University. Dan is an active board member of Student Agencies Inc., Americas oldest student-run corporation and sits on the advisory boards of several New York and California based companies.
Associate Director, Client Services
David brings to Caridan a deep background in marketing and financial principles, combined with a passion for entrepreneurship. As a Strategic Marketing Manager, David utilizes his analytical and organizational skills to manage a range of complex projects from the idea phase through successful launch and beyond, constantly tinkering to find opportunities for improvement.
Prior to joining Caridan, David worked as Marketing Analyst and Project Manager at start-up Eos Airlines. At Eos David handled the analytical and financial operations of the marketing department, as well as marketing partnerships with corporations such as American Express, Quintessentially and TerraPass. David was also a leader in the airline’s “green” policy, helping to implement environmentally responsibly policies.
David holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, where he studied psychology and consumer behavior, focusing on the intersection of psychological principles with marketing strategies and consumer purchase decisions.
Outside of the office, David enjoys cycling and running in Central Park, exploring the sidestreets of Greenwich Village, and giving tourists directions. David is also a co-organizer of the NY Tech Happy Hour, a networking a socializing event for NYC’s budding entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.
